Other Organizations' Calendars

School districts and schools are often in need of resources to help start up new programs and/or promote existing programs. Partnerships with service providers and entities that offer funding sources are great ways to advance important and worthwhile endeavors. The CIWMB has many partnerships, but some of its strongest affiliations are the following organizations; with links to related events and opportunities:

California Environmental Education Interagency Network (CEEIN) (www.calepa.ca.gov/education/CEEIN/Events/)
CEEIN is a consortium of environmental educators representing California state departments, boards, and commissions. Representatives of CEEIN can often be found exhibiting at major conferences throughout the state.

California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC) (www.creec.org/stories/storyReader$111)
The CREEC Network is your "one stop shop" for environmental education resources in California, bringing together local, state, and federal agencies in support of the development of environmentally literate students.

Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) (www.chps.net/events/index.htm)
CHPS sponsors many of the events listed on their website. These events focus on school issues, energy efficiency or green design. There is also an option of creating your own event, where a CHPS representative may be available to personally assist your school district.
